The Board of Directors of Bartow Collaborative, Inc. has extended the application deadline

Bartow Collaborative will NOT meet in July and will resume Friday, August 28th at the
First Presbyterian Church in Cartersville.
Bartow Give a Kid A Chance will be held Saturday, July 25th at the Bartow County
College And Career Academy-738 Grassdale Road in Cartersville. Registration is now open

Goodwill Career Center
The Center will host a Multi-Employer Job Fair July 9, 2015 from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public the focus of the hiring event is to bring employers
and job seekers together to discuss present or future jobs opportunities available. Although
it is our desire to accommodate every invited guest, space limitations dictate that
reservations be honored on a first-come, first-served basis. If your organization wishes to

Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta
Neighborhoods are the building blocks of the region, shaping its character and affecting the
lives of its residents. It is where “community” begins. To support and further this thinking,
the Community Foundation is hosting Neighborhood Summit on Sept. 26th. This day-long
event designed for residents from 10 metro Atlanta counties to connect and discuss a
common, inclusive agenda for strengthening the region. The Neighborhood Summit
provides opportunities for nonprofits, civic organizations and community partners to meet,
exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration. Participants attend workshops,
enjoy exhibits, and network with peer community leaders and elected officials. The theme

Addiction Solutions
Understanding Drugs of Abuse will be held Saturday July 25th, 2015 9:00 to 4:30.This
session will provide education and understanding of drugs of choice typically used by both
adults and adolescents. This understanding will help in providing treatment interventions to
meet the needs of the client/patient and reduce the risk of relapse potential. Additional
information will be provided on Prescription drugs and management of pain in treatment.

Highland Rivers is seeking a full time ITR Manager in Rome. The position requires a
Registered Nurse with Mental Health Experience. Supervisor and Program Management
Experience a plus. The position will oversee day to day operations of ITR for SPMI
consumers, develop schedules for activities throughout the week for consumer, facilitate
skills training to consumers, train support staff and ensure MARS are being completed on

entities, businesses, support groups, and local programs and projects which support issues
pertaining to children and families in our community. Agencies and individuals may
submit announcements or events to be included in weekly eblast or social media
avenues. Content may be edited as needed. Programs sponsored, hosted or facilitated by
Bartow Collaborative will be specifically noted.
