Ray Southern Memorial Cleanup & ATCO Festival
This year’ Ray Southern Memorial Cleanup & ATCO Festival will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014. Organized by Keep Bartow Beautiful and the City of Cartersville, volunteers are encouraged to help in this community-wide family event. There are opportunities for agencies, civic organizations, church groups and youth to assist with clean up in and around the ATCO mill village AND provide festival games and informational booths/tables. The Festival would like organizations and groups to offer games such as bean bag toss, fish-for-prizes, and football-thru-the-tire with small prizes (snacks or otherwise) for ATCO residents. Volunteers and residents will gather in the parking lot directly in front of ATCO Baptist Church at the corner of Goodyear Ave and Parameter Street @ 11:00 am. Footprints of the Heart will be hosting a 5K/1 Mile Pregnancy and Infant Loss Memorial Balloon Release on Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Euharlee. The race will begin and end in Frankie Harris Park.
